Michael Gorman

Michael is an analyst, researcher, and journalist living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Alongside Global Football Currency, they work for Club Atlético Atlanta, pictured in their stadium to the right. In his first season with the club in 2025, they finished second in their group — the team’s best finish in years.

They are passionate about bringing their experience facilitating transfers, enhancing team social media presence, and promoting fan engagement in the club’s local community to soccer entities in the U.S. and worldwide.

Who We Are

Nate Howell

Nate Howell is a communications and brand strategist with a lifelong passion for football (soccer).

Nate spent the first decade of his career leading communications and brand initiatives for global companies including WeWork, Meta, and BlackRock, operating from New York across international markets and nuanced global teams.

Nate shifted his focus toward global football in recent years, applying his experience as to work clubs, federations, tech companies, brands, and emerging football ventures across the U.S. and Latin America.

Nate focuses on sponsorship and brand strategy, cross-border partnerships, and intellectual property development, with a particular interest in how historic football institutions can evolve without losing their identity.

A native of Washington, DC, he attended Wesleyan University where he studied History and Spanish.
